The novel, written by Carl Gibeily, tells the story about the construction of the West Bank wall which sets two families on a collision course. After an Israeli teenager dies at the hands of a Palestinian youth in murky circumstances, journalist Aron Lunzer—an uneasy voice within right-wing media—is pushed to investigate the gaps in the official story. His search pulls him into networks of Jewish and Islamic extremists and to a sharp-tongued Lebanese Christian who evokes memories of his late wife. Together, they piece together the events behind the two deaths and race to halt a planned suicide attack that could ignite a third intifada, revealing the devastating impact of dividing walls.
